4 Nurture Sequences that Move the Needle in Your Business

If you're reading this blog post, you probably already know what a Nurture Sequence is... but just in case you don't, here is a quick definition.

Nurture Sequences are a series of automated emails that send to potential leads. These emails are meant to help you nurture and build a trusting relationship with your leads, so you can move them further down the sales funnel.

This is CRUCIAL to converting your leads into paying customers.

That being said, here are four types of Nurture Sequences that help move the needle in your business.

Lead Nurturing Sequence

A Lead Sequence — also called a Welcome Sequence or a Lead Magnet Sequence — are the most popular when it comes to nurturing your email list. These are the first series of emails that a new subscriber receives after joining your list.

This sequence of emails should be used to build a relationship with any leads who have shown interest in your product or services. These emails might introduce your business brand, provide free value, share proof of your work, encourage engagement with your new subscribers and let them know what to expect from you after they join your exclusive list.

Abandoned Cart Sequence

An Abandoned Cart Sequence is used to follow up with customers who have added your products to their cart, but they have not yet pulled the trigger to complete their purchase.

This sequence of emails can include a reminder of the items in their cart — you know, incase they forgot to follow through on their payment — an incentive to complete their purchase, and a sense of urgency, like an exclusive discounted rate, to encourage them to take action ASAP.

Re-engagement Sequence

A re-engagement sequence is meant to re-connect with past clients, past leads or those who haven't engaged with your business for a while.

These series of emails can include discounts or incentives to encourage them to partner with you, educational content or updates to your current services or offerings. This is used to win back those who have un-subscribed from your list.

Upsell Sequence

An upsell sequence is used to essentially talk your clients into buying additional products or services from you and your brand.

Example of these series of emails could include the benefits of the upsell and how it can assist them even further. You can provide personal recommendations that will ultimately increase your revenue stream!

By using these types of nurture sequences, you can build stronger relationships with your customers, move them closer to investing in your services and get you multiple levels of income streams.
